HEY……General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) is another stock which climbed 2.60% on high volume of 19.59 million and currently trades at $14.18. General Electric is cutting more jobs at its plant in West Burlington, citing a decline in production orders. Company spokeswoman Sharon Fish reported on August 20, 2009 that 50 workers will be laid off at the end of the month. She says about 10 of those will be through early retirement. . …..
