GREAT…..Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) climbed over 7% at $2.20 on 13.24 million shares. In the last few trading sessions, the stock gained over 260%. On August 25, 2009, Freddie Mac reported July 2009 Highlights: The total mortgage portfolio decreased at an annualized rate of 3.3% in July. Refinance-loan purchase volume was $34.1 billion in July, down from $50.9 billion in June. The aggregate unpaid principal balance (UPB) of mortgage-related investments portfolio decreased to $799.1 billion at July 31, 2009.
